Brian & Chetan’s VDI-in-the-Cloud Argument (One Year Later), a video from BriForum 2011
Hands down the best session I have seen at any event in 2011. You all know Brian. Chetan is the CTO of Atlantis Computing. This session recording is now freely avaiable from BrianMadden.com kudos!
At BriForum 2010, Chetan Venkatesh and Brian Madden presented a session about the future of the Windows desktop. At the time, Brian felt that the vast majority (90%+) of desktops would run locally on client devices, while Chetan felt that 90% of them would end up running centrally in VDI environments. Now that it's one year later, one of these guys has changed his mind. Attend this Lightning Session to find out which one and why.
