Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 - Technology Preview Presentation Server 4.5 is due out sometime in the first half of this year (Possibly the end of March). The official technology preview can be downloaded from mycitrix.com. Here I compare the look and feel of this version compared to previous ones and list some of the expected features it will include. How to create a streaming profile using the Citrix Streaming Profiler Application streaming is a new option available in Citrix 4.5. If you wish to know more about what it is then click here. If you wish to know how to go about getting an application “streamed” then you are in the right place. How to publish a streaming application on Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 In the last post I advised that there are three steps to publishing a streamed application using Citrix Presentation Server 4.5. If you are looking for how to publish a streamed app then first of all you need to create a streaming profile. Once you have done this you need to publish the application which is described here. Once again I assume you have the Enterprise version of Citrix 4.5 installed and the relevant management consoles. Installing the Citrix Streaming Client The third and final stage of publishing a streaming application on Citrix presentation server 4.5 is the installation of the streaming app client. The installation of this is described below. The following assumes that you have Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and the relevant management consoles installed. If you wish to have an application published to this client it also assumes that you have created a profile, published the application(s), and have a program neighbourhood agent site running.
