ARMtech for VMware
Thursday, 16 March 2006 by Michel Roth
ARMtech is well-known for their workload management solution for Citrix Servers to increase Citrix Server Capacity and Performance. They do however have another product that I didn't know about, ARMtech for VMware:

Extending the power and benefits of its industry-leading workload and performance management products to virtual servers and workstations, Aurema introduces the first resource management solution specifically designed to manage the increased resource contention associated with VMware ESX, VMware GSX, and VMware Workstation deployments.

ARMTech for VMware now gives administrators the same level of management and control on virtual machines as they have come to expect from ARMTech on physical servers -- including business-based resource policy enforcement and provisioning -- to ensure that the most critical applications and users get the access they need to real and virtual system resources.

In addition, both products provide centralized and detailed management information and policy enforcement both inside and across real and virtual machines at the server and workstation level. This enables administrators to view performance across a group of servers and roll out policy changes, an essential requirement for efficiently managing computing infrastructure in today’s heterogeneous computing environments.

There's a (VMware)Server and a (VMware)Workstation version of the product.

Take a look here. Also if anyone has experience with this product, I would love to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it about it.
