CSEIT 2007 (which stands for Citrix Support & Engineering Institute of Technology) was held just before last October's App Delivery Expo. The webcasts and presentations are intended for techies. These are the webcasts and presentations that are hosted: Printer Driver Management In this session, we will review the Printing Architecture as used in Citrix Presentation Server 4.5. We will discuss the options available to an administrator to design their printing infrastructure by limiting the use of problem print drivers and routing print jobs efficiently. We will also demonstrate tools available to test and troubleshoot common printing infrastructures. Presenter: Beth Roberts – Product Readiness Manager Brief Troubleshooting Guide The “Brief Troubleshooting Guide” gives a compact summary of how to narrow down, identify and start troubleshooting issues occurring across any of the Citrix Access Suite Products. In addition it also points out troubleshooting tools, valuable KB articles and relevant Administration guides. One of the main objectives is help you begin working on your issues quickly and efficiently. Presenter: Hermann Koppenwallner - Strategic Readiness Engineer Citrix MFCOM Programming for Administrators (MyCitrix or CDN login required) Learn to use MFCOM SDK to generate reports, automate repetitive tasks and troubleshoot your Citrix Presentation Server environment. This session will also cover how to start writing MFCOM scripts for common administrative tasks . Presenter: Vishal Ganeriwala - Sr. Technical Manager Using and Understanding Citrix EdgeSight 4.5 In this session, we will discuss the EdgeSight architecture behind some of its most used features in addition to the core architecture. Using this, we will discuss common troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve issues with the EdgeSight core functions. In addition, the most common configuration problems and settings will be discussed. Key environmental characteristics which may cause problems and/or dictate configuration changes will be discussed. Presenter: Sean Connelly - Principal Sales Engineer Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 / Feature Pack 1 In this session, Citrix reviews the new features of Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 HRP1 + Hotfix feature pack 1, delve deeper into some of the features explaining the benefits and how to enable and how to troubleshoot it.
