Automatic Client Delivery Fails On Windows XP With Service Pack 2

Automatic deployment of the Win32 Presentation Server Client fails for Windows XP Service Pack 2 clients if the web server is not in the Trusted Sites or Intranet zone. This occurs when Web Interface 4.0 or Citrix Access Essentials is configured to “Automatically update the Web client at log on,” Windows XP Service Pack 2 clients that do not trust the Web server will receive the Internet Explorer “Information bar” telling them that an ActiveX control is available for download. But if they click the information bar and select “Install ActiveX control,” nothing happens.
