Citrix XenDesktop Beta Delayed
Wednesday, 31 October 2007 by Michel Roth
The Citrix XenDesktop Beta planned for the 29th of October has been delayed until the "beginning of November". A bad sign?

At iForum ...erhm the Citrix Application Delivery Expo, Citrix announced Citrix XenDesktop, the successor to Citrix Desktop Server. Yesterday, I mentioned that Gus Pinto over at FrameWorkx.com had written a very cool article about this upcoming Citrix XenDesktop. There's even a dedicated Citrix XenDesktop website.

At this website you are able to sign up for the Citrix XenDesktop beta which was planned to be released on the 29th of October. Citrix however is "running behind" and has delayed the beta until "the beginning of November". Let's hope this is not the start of a sequence of delays.

By the way, if you're in the mood for betas and preview, why not sign up for the early release of Citrix Presentation Server 5.0, aka Delaware?
