Tuesday, 30 October 2007 by Michel Roth
Gus Pinto has some early information about the renamed Citrix Desktop Server, Citrix XenDesktop. Well, as Gus' article shows, it turns out that Citrix XenDesktop isn't just a rename.

Gus mentions that the product is comprised of several components and also mentions some of the features:

• Desktop Connector - Dynamic Desktop Delivery
• XenCenter - Virtualization Infrastructure
• Virtual Desktop Provisioning
• XenMotion - Desktop Pooling
• SpeedScreen™ - Speedy Desktops
• Instant On - Desktops on Demand
• Univeral Printing
