Dell has introduced a new workstation device called the Dell PrecisionTM R5400 Rack Workstation. What is unique about this offering is that it is designed from the ground up for remote access.

The workstation itself is hosted in a rack inside a data-center, and is accessed remotely using a special end-point device, the Dell FX100 Remote Access Device, that is bundled with it. To facilitate remote access, Dell has incorporated Teradici PC-over-IP into both devices, thus providing optimized remote user experience for workstation class applications.
