Free Profile Management Tool - BOMBProf
Friday, 20 October 2006 by Michel Roth
From DABCC.com: BOMBProf is a standalone Windows GUI tool designed to manage multiple local or roaming profiles that are stored on a server or workstation. Profiles can be copied or deleted to assist in the maintenance of an operating system. BOMBProf allows for multiple profile deletion or copying in one process. This utility was written for the purpose of allowing administrators to delete or copy multiple profiles residing on a server or workstation. The GUI lists all the profiles that reside on the server or workstation and lists if they are currently in use or available to be copied or deleted. Profiles in use are restricted from copying or deleting for obvious reasons.

An administrator can choose one or more of the profiles from the list provided and either copy or delete the profile as required. Profiles can be completely deleted from the file system or placed in the Recycle Bin. All Registry entries pertaining to the profileand its owner are removed from the system. The GUI lists the available profiles, displaying the owner, the size of the profile, and the type (Roaming or Local). The size of the profile pertains to the profile stored on the system excluding the size of the Local Settings directory in each profile.

On copying, the Temporary Internet files section of the chosen profile/s is cleared and then copied to the new location. The Local Settings section of each profile is copied with the complete profile, without of course the Temporary Internet Files. The Local Settings is retained in the copy process to allow administrators the ability to restore data from this area, should it be required.
