Today my article about simulating Wide Area Connections (WAN) in your own test lab was published at MSTerminalServices.org: "A lot of the issues (problems) that you face when troubleshooting Server Based Computing environments are related to the network that users are connecting over. This is especially true for wide area connections (WANs). When you need to troubleshoot such an environment, you need to “use” the offending network connection. Due to obvious reasons this is not always possible. There are wonderful devices you can buy to simulate all kinds of different networks but these usually cost tens of thousands of dollars. In this article I will show you how you can simulate poor WAN connections by using free tools."
