" IGEL announced that it was enhancing its Smart product range with the latest VIA Eden processor and CN700 chipset with VIA V4 bus technology. This enhancement delivers an average performance increase of more than 30 % over the previous Smart generation and gives new features such as dual monitor support. Starting at only 249/£162/USD289 + tax, the IGEL Smart range is now the lowest priced thin client from a major manufacturer that offers dual monitor support. The IGEL Smart series supports Linux, Windows CE and Windows XPe operating systems and is aimed at value driven customers who want excellent performance and features for a great price. All versions of the IGEL Smart series support external smart card readers and come bundled with the IGEL Remote Manager suite. The IGEL Smart series consumes only 20W of power and is small enough to be mounted on the back of monitors and furniture using an optional VESA bracket. The IGEL-2110 LX Smart is based on IGEL Linux and comes with ICA, RDP, ThinPrint and Cisco VPN. It is fully dual monitor capable using the built in VGA and DVI ports. The IGEL-2110 LX Smart has a list price of 249/£162/ + tax. The IGEL-2110 CE Smart is based on Windows CE and comes with ICA, RDP, ThinPrint, and Microsoft VPN clients. It can output one session to two monitors using the VGA and DVI ports. The IGEL-2110 CE Smart has a list price of 249/£162/ + tax. The IGEL-2510 XP Smart comes with ICA, RDP and ThinPrint clients, a full Internet Explorer web browser and Microsoft Media Player. It is fully dual monitor capable just like 2110 LX.
