LANDesk And Thinstall Partner

LANDesk and Thinstall have announced an OEM Partnership. LANDesk is probably best known for it's management products for systems, desktops, servers and mobile devices. Just like Microsoft SMS (or whatever the new version will be called). The company they have partnered with is called Thinstall. Thinstall of course is best known for it's application virtualization technology.

So it looks like they are doing what Microsoft started doing some time ago: integrating virtual application (technology) delivery into their management products. Microsoft first did this with the Softgrid SMS Connector and will probably develop this a lot further. I've worked with this Softgrid SMS Connector and there is room for improvement.
