Microsoft 2003 Sysprep Tool Changes the Drive Letter Assignment
Monday, 03 January 2005 by Michel Roth
When you work with servers that have remapped drives and you use imaging tools then you're bound to run into drive letter assignment problems of some sort.

Citrix published a support article about imaging Metaframe servers with remapped drives and Sysprep 2003;
"When running the Microsoft 2003 Sysprep tool to change the ID after ghosting the server, the 2003 Sysprep tool changes the drive letters assignment. The M: and N: drives revert back to C: and D: drives."
