MultiFrame Review

Wilco van Bragt wrote a review about MultiFrame, a new thin client solution that is very popular in Scandinavia:

"One of the most mentioned reasons for choosing a Terminal Server infrastructure is to save costs on the purchases and maintenance of fat clients workstations. When a Terminal Server infrastructure is in place lot of user do not need a fat client anymore. Often all software is stripped of these workstations and the Remote Desktop Protocol client, Citrix Program Neighborhood or another manufacture client will be installed on these machines. Although maintenance cost will go down, you should still maintain Windows with hot fixes and Service Packs. To get rid of this maintenance companies are using dedicated Windows Base Terminals (WBT's) or configure the old workstations with another operating system. The Norwegian company Linpro developed MultiFrame to reconfigure the workstations with a new operating system and configuration using a single point of administration."
