Tuesday, 14 November 2006 by Michel Roth
Microsoft has just released a new Virtual Lab covering Windows XP Embedded SP2 Feature Pack 2007 - this is an introductory level lab that covers the basics of running Target Analyzer, using Component Designer to create a component, using Target Designer to configure and build an operating system image, and then boot the customized operating system.

"In this lab you will use the Windows XP Embedded development tools to analyze hardware, create custom components, add components to the Windows XP Embedded component database, build a custom operating system image and deploy the operating system image to a bootable partition, the final step of the lab is to boot and run the custom operating system image."
