Presentation Server 4.5 To Be Released At Citrix Summit ?
Monday, 29 January 2007 by Michel Roth
This should not come as an surprise to anyone but all the signs (including those from within Citrix) are there that Presentation Server 4.5 will be released at the Citrix Summit. The Citrix Summit is an exclusive, invitation-only global NDA event for Citrix business partners worldwide. It is going on right now (from 1/28/2007 to 1/31/2007) in Orlando, Florida.

Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 (aka Project Ohio), for those of you that don't know about it yet, isn't groundbreaking in it's new features but adds some nice new features. The main new stuff in PS 4.5 is:

• Health Monitoring and Recovery
• Enhanced Logging
• Application Isolation Environment version 2
• Citrix Streaming Server integration
• SpeedScreen Progressive Display.
• Improved Tossing and Queuing Algorithm
• Builtin Logon Throttling

More news when the offical word gets out ...

Update: PS 4.5 was NOT released at the Citrix Summit. I guess Citrix Employees are in the dark as well ... ;-)
