Program Neighborhood Agent - Application Icon Delays
Tuesday, 16 January 2007 by Michel Roth
The New Zealand user group has an article up that mentions the fact that you can choose to alter the location where the Program Neighborhood caches it's icons.

"A little known (with most of the customers I speak to anyway) fact is that PNAgent cache information actually resides in the '%APPDATA%\Citrix\PNAgent\AppCache' path. See the problem yet? For users who login to a domain with folder redirection configured this can mean that the PNAgent cache is actually located on the other end of the (usually slow) WAN link. I've seen this to be one of the major causes of application enumeration delays.

The good news is that the PNAgent cache path can be modified. You can modify the cache path by editing the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Citrix\Program Neighborhood Agent\Application Cache registry key."
