Today my colleague Patrick Rouse published a blog post on the official Provision Networks blog showing one of the upcoming features in the Provision Networks Virtual Access Suite that allows for full fidelity video playback in Terminal Server environments as well as VDI environments.
This feature is part of Provision Networks' Multimedia Redirection Technology. In the blog post Patrick has posted two Youtube videos that compare native RDP Protocol rendering of multimedia vs Provision Networks Multimedia Redirection Technology. A world of difference, see for yourself:

Hi Michel,
Keep up the good work!
This looks very interesting and might just be the thing we're looking for in a SBC product for our clients. Since Citrix Access Essentials doesn't include any of the useful SpeedScreen features, at this point there isn't really any good SBC product for the SMB segment that provides any kins of multimedia support. Is there any ETA on these new features/versions? Is there a beta to try out?
Hi Dennes,
My UNOFFICIAL comment: 5.10 will be available for you to download before June is over.
When it comes to improving Virtual Desktop Infrastructure performance, and offloading and removing servers from the edge Expand Networks provides a unique combination of technologies to improve these and related environments.
