Wednesday, 08 November 2006 by Michel Roth
Provision Networks ,today at VMworld 2006, launched the Dynamic Desktop Deployment (D3) Alliance Program, a powerful and comprehensive ecosystem of industry-leading partners collaborating to deliver the first-ever true end-to-end enterprise VMware virtual desktop infrastructure powered by the Provision Networks Virtual Access Suite.

With VMware’s VDI at the core, the D3 Alliance led by Provision Networks will deliver improved manageability, flexibility, resiliency, security, transparency, agility and portability, transforming the desktop computer and its applications into on-demand virtual services, personalized and optimized for the individual or task performed.

Dynamic Desktops are Deployed, not simply delivered, thus lowering the overall total cost of ownership, improving security and productivity. Deployment of dynamic desktops, a fully-automated task within the Virtual Access Suite, encompasses configuration, management, personalization, optimization, provisioning, and delivery from a central data center, to be accessed securely from any device.
