SCVMM 2008 Beta Update for Hyper-V RC1
Wednesday, 11 June 2008 by Michel Roth
The first Hyper-V release candidate (RC0) was released. Cool! Next there was SCVMM in its first public form. Even cooler. Next there was RC1 of Hyper-V which unfortunately could not be managed by the SCVMM beta .....  Kind of clumsy right? Well, this problem does not exist anymore. Recently, Microsoft released an update for the System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 beta. This update adds support for managing Hyper-V RC1. You can get the update from Microsoft Connect. Note that you need to be a member of the beta program to get access to the hotfix. If you are not already, just sign up.
