Some Citrix Published Application Import/Export Tools
Friday, 06 July 2007 by Michel Roth
Wilco van Bragt has published an article that briefly discusses three tools that you can use to import and/or export you published applications. Since I've used the tools he discusses as well, here's what my experiences with these tools are:

PAT
This tool is freely available from Thomas Koetzings website. I've used it and I have had some issues with icons not being exported and imported properly.

Published Application Importer Exporter
A pretty rudimentary tool by the looks of things. Have not used it before.

Published Application Utility (PAU)
I was emailed earlier about this tool by its creator, Dennis Smith. PAU is a tool that does importing and exporting of published applications. Its other abilities are however what make it a very interesting tool as far as I'm concerned. It's clear to see that this is a tool made by someone who has worked with larger Citrix farms. The tool fills the gaping holes that basic Citrix management tools leaves you with. PAU is now out of beta and at version 1.0. PAU is free (registration required). Even though I've only used it briefly, I like it a lot. If time permits I'll report by with some elaborate findings.
