• Features: ScrewDrivers provides administrators with a multitude of built-in functionality, making it a superior printing product. • User experience: ThinPrint’s .print remote desktop engine and its universal driver "Output Gateway" is only like a small enhancement of what is normally referred to as a printer mapping. It functions as a template driver and the administrator still has to configure according to various options, i.e. will it support Duplex, will it have color support, what is the maximum resolution, etc. Once this is setup ALL users will be forced into having the same settings for ALL of their printers. This puts a burden on users because they will need to know exactly what the printer they are using supports, as they may be given alternatives at printout that they cannot support. • Resolution: Output gateway supports a maximum resolution of 600*600dpi, ScrewDrivers does not have any limitation on maximum resolution. • Font embedding: ScrewDrivers will embed fonts that are not present on the client workstation, decreasing the administrator’s work and time spent installing fonts on all client workstations. ThinPrint requires you to install ALL fonts used at the client workstations. Printer created in session: With ScrewDrivers you can give users all of their printers from within their session. .print Remote Desktop Printing Engine only supports building of clients’ default printer.
