TS Gateway And Network Access Protection Demo

Matt Hester of Microsoft has created a small video that shows you how to set up a Terminal Server Gateway (one of the new Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server features) so that it uses another new Windows Server 2008 feature: Network Access Protection.

As you may perhaps know, the Terminal Server Gateway "by default" works with "Connection Authorization Policies" (CAPs) and Resource Authorisation Policies (RAPs). The Terminal Server Gateway can however also be configured to use a Network Access Protection (NAP) server. NAP is a policy enforcement platform that allows you to by enforcing compliance with system health requirements. With Network Access Protection, you can create customized health policies to validate computer health before allowing access to, for example in this case, the Terminal Server environment via the Terminal Server Gateway.
