VMware Virtual Desktop Manager 2

VMware has taken another significant step into the VDI market space by announcing their Virtual Desktop Manager 2. Virtual Desktop Manager 2 is encompasses the VDI broker technology from the acquisition of Propero. The product is expected to be available later this year. Also, there should be a public beta available for Virtual Desktop Manager 2 in the next couple of days.

VMware Virtual Desktop Manager connects remote clients to centralized desktops that can be accessed securely from almost anywhere and from many different hardware platforms. VMware Virtual Desktop Manager is designed to meet the security and scalability needs of small and large deployments."
