Vmware Workstation 5.5 Supports Open Microsoft Virtual Server / PC Directly
Friday, 19 August 2005 by Michel Roth
Vmware workstation 5.5 which beta has just started will seamlessly open third party formats - You can now directly open third-party virtual machines, including Microsoft VPC and Virtual Server, without first converting them. From the Open dialog in both Workstation and Player interfaces, you can select the appropriate file type to open third party virtual machines. Any changes you make to the virtual machine are then saved in VMware format.
