VXL Instruments Announces XenDesktop Product Bundle
Wednesday, 31 October 2007 by Michel Roth
It seems like VXL Instruments, a manufacturer of Thin Clients, has been the first to jump on the XenDesktop bandwagon. They've announced plans for a product bundle that incorporates VXL Thin Clients and XenDesktop and Citrix Presentation Server.

Although it's hard to tell whether or not VXL developed this bundle based on Citrix Desktop Server or on the upcoming XenDesktop fact of the matter is that VXL has high hopes for this new product line. They even has a product bundle that a at price of about $420 per user delivers a virtual desktop utilizing VXL Thin Clients, XenDesktop, Citrix Presentation Server and IBM Servers. The press release also states that VXL allows for "client-side applications virtualization" (the new term for Citrix application streaming to desktops). So this means that VXL has the Streaming Client preinstalled on their WinXPe Thin Clients.
