The Terminal Services Team Chat actually revealed some interesting documents that I'm not sure I told you about.

The first is a document called "Windows Server Code Name “Longhorn” Beta 2 Product Overview". As it's name implies, it gives an overview of all the Longhorn bits including Terminal Services:

In addition to the TS Gateway, TS Remote Programs, and TS Web Access, Windows Server “Longhorn” introduces a number of other core improvements to Terminal Services:

• PnP Device Redirection Framework
• Terminal Services Single Sign On
• Remote Desktop Connection Large Monitor Support and Monitor Spanning.
• Windows System Resource Manager and Terminal Services
• Desktop Experience Pack and Themes Support

Secondly there's a mention of the new Plug and Play Device Redirection Framework introduced in Longhorn. The Terminal Server Plug and Play device redirection framework can make Plug and Play devices available to applications that are running on remote sessions over Terminal Server by using the Remote Desktop Protocol.

There's a powerpoint up on this subject here. and there's a Microsoft page up called Device Driver INF Changes for Plug and Play Device Redirection on Terminal Server.
