Wyse today announced its participation in the Altiris Developer Program to integrate its management framework with Altiris Deployment Solution software as a supported management platform for the Wyse portfolio of market leading thin clients.

Wyse Thin Clients running Windows and/or Linux operating systems will be manageable through the Deployment Solution console. This integration provides Wyse customers who have standardized on Altiris Deployment Solution a single client management framework to control all devices, PCs and Thin Clients in their environment.

"By leveraging the Altiris management architecture, our mutual customers can achieve rapid thin computing adoption," said Ricardo Antuna, vice president of business development, Wyse. "Many of our customers began with PCs and an Altiris management strategy, and want to move to thin computing. This integration enables them to move to Wyse Thin Clients seamlessly, thus ensuring their investments on management infrastructure are sound today and in the future."
