Wyse To Demonstrate New Product Lineup At Citrix iForum Global 06
Friday, 20 October 2006 by Michel Roth
Wyse will be demonstrating a number of new technologies at Citrix iForum™ Global 06 to educate attendees on the key benefits of thin computing, including improving data access, security, infrastructure cost-savings, and overall IT support. To show how Wyse Streaming Manager software enables customers to do more with Citrix products, Wyse has set up 90 demonstration desktops for attendees at the show’s Internet Cafe.

Wyse Streaming Manager (WSM) offers a breakthrough in functionality to Citrix customers wanting to use thin computing. WSM enables IT to deliver rich video, animation, and visually intense applications over LANs, eliminates the need for client management, and can be deployed seamlessly with Citrix Presentation Server™. It does this by streaming the operating system to the thin client on demand.

“We are extremely pleased to have Wyse Technology participate in this year’s iForum,” said David Jones, corporate vice president, business development, for Citrix. “Wyse is a valued partner that helps deliver high-value thin computing offerings to market.”
At the Citrix iForum Global 06 conference, in Orlando, Florida, Wyse products are showcased at Exhibition Booth #103.
